As part of Corvian’s college preparation program and to help students prepare for postsecondary success, each student will be assigned a Naviance Account freshman year. Naviance offers college, career, and life readiness tools to prepare students for the future. Each year, students will be assigned different tasks to complete to help them stay on track in their college and career planning process.
Through Naviance, students will be able to apply to colleges, explore careers, apply for scholarships and more.
- Self-Discovery Tools like Gallup's Clifton StrengthsExplorer®, Career Interest Profiler, Career Key, and AchieveWorks assessments that will help students uncover their strengths and interests and make informed decisions about their futures.
- Career Exploration and Planning tools to help students explore careers and align their academic plans to their goals. Students can explore careers through engaging videos and work-based learning opportunities, such as internships, apprenticeships, and job shadows.
- College Research and Application in which students can explore postsecondary education options and identify the best-match colleges and universities that meet their search criteria. Staff can connect students with college and military reps and seamlessly manage the entire college application process in Naviance.
